Our black iron head covers feature a see-through window to see your iron number or loft angle. When you pull out an iron to a hit a shot, simple put the head cover in your pocket and then replace it before putting the iron back in your bag.
My first couple rounds I was leary of my new clubs. I played conventional hybrids for 10 years, and was used to hitting them short on the greens and letting them roll. At first when they checked up like conventional irons, I needed to adjust. Now after six rounds, I am beginning to love the new field and the same length shafts. I have adjusted most quickly to the wedge and nine irons. I have found them to be my favorites. But I have no doubt the others, after more practice will come to play like the others. At first, I was a little scared that by buying the demos, and not being able to return them, was a mistake. But now I feel the gamble was worth the money saved as they become my friends on the course.
Ordered my clubs, received them a week early, but nine iron was missing, Ron had already reached out to me to let me know it was going to be 2 days behind the rest of the set. I had ordered 5-pw and the utility wedge. When I received the first shipment I noticed a 4 iron was in the box, so I reached out to Ron and he told me because of the delay on the 9 iron he threw in the 4 iron for free. I took my new set to a indoor golf for 2 straight days an hour each time and just could not get the hang of the one length club and decided to send them back and was given a full refund. Clubs looked amazing and was everything I was promised, I wish they would have worked out. Ron Davis is a first class guy and definitely stands behind his product!!!!
The clubs look and feel great. However the ball does not have the distance of My old Callaway Hawkeyes. I could reach 150 yards with my old 8 iron and now I need to use the 6. Maybe there is a learning curve. When I make good contact the ball flies nice and High and straight wit a slight draw. NOt convinced I made tghe right move yet.
Hi! Thanks for your review. Please make sure you are comparing loft angles between your new clubs and the set you used to use as there is no standard loft angles in the numbering system for irons or woods - that could be the difference right there. You shouldn't lose distance, there is a bit of a learning curve adjusting to single-length, but once it snaps your shots will be straight, accurate, and the distance you expect! Please reach out if you need any pointers!
